Nine runs in the fourth inning led Ayersville past Miller City 15-2 on Saturday. Ayersville’s offense in the inning came from singles by Hailey Bok, Taylor Waldron, and Hailey Johnson, a walk by Kaylor Martin, and a fielder’s choice by Rylee Barnett.

The Pilots got on the board in the first inning. Martin drove in one when Martin tripled.

Ayersville put up nine runs in the fourth inning. The Pilots big inning was driven by singles by Bok, Waldron, and Johnson, a walk by Martin, and a fielder’s choice by Barnett.

Mikala Schindler was the winning pitcher for Ayersville. The righthander allowed six hits and two runs over five innings, striking out five and walking one.

T Oedy took the loss for Miller City. The pitcher lasted five innings, allowing 17 hits and 15 runs while striking out three.

Ayersville racked up 17 hits in the game. Chelsea Porter, Johnson, Martin, and Bok all had multiple hits for the Pilots. Bok, Martin, Johnson, and Porter each collected three hits to lead Ayersville.

T Wilhelm went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Miller City in hits.
